Our Story: From the Warehouse to the Knowledge Base
Welcome to PB Networks.
For years, our team was deeply embedded in the trenches of enterprise IT infrastructure. We started out by sourcing, rigorously testing, and supplying top-quality new, used, and refurbished networking gear. From Cisco switches and routers to high-end Juniper, Foundry, and Extreme Networks equipment, we handled it all.
Our hands-on experience in reviving end-of-sale and end-of-life (EOL) hardware taught us something critical: while finding affordable, high-performance used gear is easier than ever, finding reliable, real-world documentation for it is not.
As manufacturers push for newer generations, essential configuration guides, hardware specs, and honest performance reviews for older (but still incredibly capable) equipment often disappear from the web.
What We Do Today
Today, PB Networks has evolved from a hardware reseller into an independent, comprehensive resource hub for network engineers, IT procurement officers, and homelab enthusiasts.
We no longer sell hardware directly. Instead, we are dedicated to sharing the technical expertise we accumulated over years of stress-testing and provisioning enterprise gear.
Here, you will find:
-
Deep-Dive Hardware Specs: Detailed specifications and End-of-Life (EOL) data for legacy and current-generation networking equipment.
-
Configuration & CLI Tutorials: Step-by-step guides for setting up, factory resetting, and optimizing Cisco, Juniper, and other leading brand systems.
-
Procurement & Homelab Guides: Unbiased advice on evaluating used IT networking gear, ensuring you get the best ROI without compromising on network stability.
